2014 MULE DAY - TUESDAY - WAGON TRAIL

The activities on Tuesday also involved leaving Chickasaw Trace Park and traveling though a part of northwestern Maury County. I did not go with them but waited at the park for their return. Monday, my focus was on the mules, horses, and wagons. On Tuesday, my focus was more on the people. It was a very bright day so the shadows were deep. This problem took away from many pictures.

2014 MULE DAY - MONDAY - WAGON TRAIL

Mule Day is actually a misnomer. It is a week-long yearly event terminating on the first full weekend of April. On Monday-Wednesday, the only/major event is the mule pulled wagon train trips through Maury County. They leave from Maury Counties Chickasaw Trace Park where the spend each night. I saw people from Georgia and Kentucky but I did not get to talk to all of them. It is a family event with children and teens taking an active part. I was impressed at how friendly the participants were.
